Our Switch to Online Courses

After careful review of the coronavirus situation and discussions with students we're taking the following steps to try to help minimize its impact on our community and "flatten the coronavirus curve":

  • starting Monday, March 16, courses will only be taught online. There will be no in-person courses offered at our studio.

  • all scheduled weekend workshops are postponed indefinitely.

  • in-person private instruction will be available online only.

We will be offering almost all of our weekly classes in a live, interactive online format.

If you are currently enrolled in our weekly courses - or were during our Winter course session - then you should have received an email explaining how to participate in our new online format. If you didn't, please contact Dan Winter at info@towardharmony.com.

We feel it is very important to keep offering our classes. Qigong and tai chi are powerful ways to become more physically, emotionally, and mentally resilient. Rather than contracting in fear or getting caught up in anxiety, we can use tai chi and qigong to help us:

  • circulate our chi to help maintain our health,

  • relax,

  • remain centered and grounded, and

  • stay connected to others in our community energetically and emotionally.

Whether you participate in our courses or not, please remember to regularly practice whatever mind-body-spirit practices you know - ours or others - to help you navigate these turbulent times.

And please reach out to help others as you seek to help yourself.

Thank you,

Kathryn Komidar, Bill Ryan, and Dan Winter

P.S. We are not sure when we will be able to return to in-person instruction at our studio. We will keep you updated as the situation continues develop.
